ARTIST STATEMENT

I picked up a camera in 2017 and figured it out as I went. Concert pits, protests, gyms, corners, and sidelines. I was not assigned to any of it. I just showed up. The people in the photographs were living something. I was there to witness it and make sure the frame was worth their time. That’s still the job.
